Pumice is an all natural stone formed when super heated lava comes in contact with water, releasing a bunch of air and water vapor via bubbles. The result is a super porous rock that is a perfect exfoliator,  completely non-toxic, lightweight, and will leave your skin smoother than a baby's bottom. It can even be used as a shaving alternative.

Each weighs about 7.5oz

Ours are sourced ethically through a small US mining company. They come completely unprocessed. This offers you unique shapes, textures, angles, etc, plus natural ergonomics. With the polished stones I've bought in the past, I always find some angle that just doesn’t work. Withthese, that problem is non-existent.

Using unprocessed pumice also offers a varied surface that's less likely to clog with body stuff. All pumice will do that, but smoothed versions seem to be much more vulnerable. To clean your pumice, simply give it a boil once a month or so. You'll notice it begin to glide a bit too much when it's time. I recommend replacing them once every six months or so. Although, you can keep them until they erode away naturally in a few years.

Hot to use a pumice stone:
Using a pumice stone is easy. In a shower, bath, or soak, let your skin absorb some water and soften up. I usually like to add a scoop of The Butters or a bath bomb to my bath or soak for extra moisturizing. You don't have to, but it will certainly help loosen that top layer of skin. Alternatively, a soap or body wash can be used. Then simply rub the pumice over the area in a circular motion. When you're satisfied, rinse off. Stop if it starts to feel sore. After your done, you will want to moisturize that area again. Give your pumice a rinse then let it dry.
